I've seen this movie a couple of times and really enjoyed it and noticed that a lot of forum readers also enjoyed this movie, got any suggestions for any other good movies?

If you knew the backstory behind the movie, I'm sure you'd appreciate it more.

I sorta expect to understand the movie from just watching it. Not having to do research beforehand and then watch the movie. I actually did look online for into about the movie afterwards ... and it was cool ... but not that awesome or as exciting as I'd have like.

Thanks for posting a few Crven, I know this is a lot like Jason's thread but I was hoping to triger a certain audience. I've heard about Requiem for a dream but never seen it I think that will be the next movie I rent. Did anyone see Magnolia with Tom Cruise? I couldn't connect anything that was going on and thought the movie was complete utter shit.

watch requiem for a dream if you want to be left feeling crappy after the movie. great movie, but it's... rough..

I tried watching band of brothers before, I think I got through 3 episodes, maybe 4, I lost interest. it's good, but not fantastic.

If you've never really watched it, go to blockbuster and get the first dvd of the first season of sopranos and watch that. I did, and I had to keep going. I tore through the first 3 seasons in a couple weeks.

I think Donnie Darko left you in the happiest sad mood you could ever be in. I only watched like one of the Band of Brother's episodes.

Well the movies don't lie, there isn't always a happy ending nor does everyone live. They're the most truthful movies you can find.
