I'm lookin for...

Hello,
anyone of you ever played/read those "fantasy rol playing books"? You start with a character and you are thrown in an adventure and you have to fight urself a way through the story/book.
An example:
- You're in a forrest, what do you want to do?
1) try to find a path which will guide you through it (go page 15)
2) Return the the nearbiest city and take another route (go page 24)

I'm not sure if I make myself clear, but if anyone of you knows if there is a website which has a game like this, let me know plz

oh, I remember them as "choose your own adventure" books. Yeah, I died alot in them :/ .... that could be a sign for something.

Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy series were fun, but they are hard to find anymore.
