Yea that's probably what happend and if any mishandling of procedures happend on Era's part....posting it on here has made certain that no action will be taken by upper staff. Uhh GG I guess. Email complaints@trenchwars.org and drop the bs, it might get you a few days off the ban.

It's highly debatable if Jews can be considered a race.

Did you have a prior warning in the recent past? If you did then this second warning could bump you up to a ban.

I wasn't legitimiately warned by them for anything. Farmer sent a phony mod warning when I requested my ban a few nights ago. I got warned for teamkilling, and I was using a Terrier. GG. But if memory serves, this is the first racism warning I've gotten.

Were you warned by Farmer and BAM before? And more to the point were you warned for racism?

I didn't log the incident, but I can reconstruct it pretty accurately from memory.

I left pub 0 to check a couple other arenas. I came back, and something like this went down:

Oen Izan> oh great , its back
    Ezor> hey
Ezor> go cook a jew and stfu :P

MODERATOR WARNING: Ezor, racism is an offense punishable by banning. -Erathia
    Ezor> ban me then
    Disconnected from server

Sounds pretty hollow to me. I can understand if I had said something like "uh oh a mod warning.. Erathia must be a jew, cook her Oen". But "ban me then" seems decent enough, plus it's an insufficient reason for banning. I begged BAM and Farmer to ban me, and they told me they couldn't unless I teamkilled or did something else illegal. So there you have it. Illegal ban. Remove it or I'm going higher up to discuss this. I know you don't want to be demoted to the level of lowly user again, Erathia. Put the power down and stop getting intoxicated.

I think they should at least give a valid reason for banning, or contact the user about to be banned for whatever rules they've violated.

I got banned just because someone accused me of using their account. It was just like this, except I changed some of the names; well, I forgot them, but TrollKing just posted, so:

Me: TrollKing is using my account!
Mods: We don't need no stinkin' evidence!
    TrollKing: BANNINATED

[EDIT] There should be a space between "Troll" and "King". [/EDIT]

So what DID you do before you said "ban me then"?

I presume, there must have been some situation that caused you to be in position to say that to someone who could ban you. The fact that it was conveniently not mentioned in your complaint cannot reflect on your case very well.

Against the rules. That's the point. If it was legal I wouldn't have a problem with this.

    Power-drunk mods

I have been wrongly banned from Trench Wars. The reason given was racism, but I said nothing remotely racist following a warning. My final statement was "ban me then", which I was told is not a legal reason to ban. I requested a ban from BAM and Da Farmer! a couple of nights ago and they told me a ban on myself could not be requested; that I had to do something illegal to get banned. They then informed me of the banning procedure. Basically, a warning, and if the offense continues a ban is issued. So unless "ban me then" suddenly became a racist statement, I don't feel this ban should have any right to stay. I admit that I do say some off-color things, and the mods finally caught me tonight. I digress, though. My argument is this: if a ban on myself can't be requested, and I did nothing wrong after a mod warning (I didn't say ANYTHING other than "ban me then", which is a request in itself), then I feel this ban was wrongly issued and should be lifted.

On a side note: Erathia is a power-drunk cunt. Fuck you, whore.

Side note #2: I really don't think Oen Izan gives a shit what I say about him. He plays to have fun like I do, and while I considered him a pest at first, it just took me time to realize that he has a similar mindset to me. This also explains why newbs can't get along with me. $$$

[Edit: Update the ban e-mail address. ban@trenchwars.org is broken, just like the brains of 90% of TW's staff.]
