    Virus On Icq!

    Warning guys.. if u guys are using ICQ, beware of the virus that is running around between contacts.. this virus is usually obtain from a link that is similar to this.. www.jokers something.com.. if u click on it.. it will bring u to a funny site.. and the site will also make your computer d/l a small program by itself.. this program will then play around with your icq.. connecting and disconnecting it non-stop.. so if u try opening icq.. it will shuts down by itself after 10 seconds.. and there is nothing u can do to stop this from happening until this program is removed.. even if u reinstall ICQ the same problem will appear..

    i still havent found a way to fix this yet.. but if u anyone of u knows how to fix it without reformatting the comp.. plz reply back here..

      sounds like one of them activex sites or something. when i was an aoler i use to do shit like that :/, but not with a silly icq closing program or something o_O. it is possible to goto some site and automaticly get infected with a virus..

            put your computer in a microwave. radiation usually kills viruses and, well, anything. good luck.

                        The program it downloaded from the site was called "meine.scm" and it seems to be fake icq sound scheme. try going to main -> preferences -> alerts and notifications -> sounds, and change "sound schemes" from meine.scm to ICQ Defaults. I'm not sure if it helps but it's worth of try

                          ANzu it wont even let me go on ICQ.. i'm on it.. and it shuts down after 10 seconds..
