nader 4 prez?

My opinion isn't too high of Nader. I support protecting the environment and everything, but the Green Party just isn't my scene. I won't be voting eligible (by less than a year) so I don't really have much say in the '04 election, but when I do register I will probably support either Libertarian or Independent party.

Conc, I agree with you about the breakdown of the two-party system. I hope it keeps going, we need to have more than two strong parties to support national intrests.

I think it would be in our nation's best interest as well. However, many things prevent this from becoming a possiblity soon. Lack of interest is probably the biggest thing.

I once complained about the lack of a strong 3rd party. Someone told me that a reason for this was that every issue has 2 sides, pro and con. This holds true to many issues, however the lack of a strong, moderate or weak stance on issues usually leaves us with only limited choices. An effect way to bring a third party into the picture would be a good idea. Personally I feel the way some European countries governemnt's are run with a large number of parties and alliances to make a majority is a better idea than our 2 party system.

I'll probably vote Nader, now that I think about it, since i live in Virginia and my Democratic vote wouldnt count for shit anyway...
