TWL IS the TW Olympics, I can't imagine how somebody would implement javelin throw or long jump in Continuum

that WOULD be funny, but not really what i was thinking lol. more like a few people from the top squads competing in duels, 1v1 and 2v2, in tourney style but more "skill" involved, since the players would prolly be the top players on the top squds in trench. Its more independant then TWL, but its not Totally individual like TWEL. This was my idea in a nutshell. Just an idea.

Javelin toss is easy. Just get a jav to attach to a terr. The terr flies as fast as he can towards a marked line and then presses F7, dropping the jav and sending it flying with the momentum.

Yeah... set max speed javs high, give them no thrusters, to eliminate cheating.

Either that, or have another teams of two event: 1 Ship with rocket, 1 ship with repel. They time their rocket/repel right so that one of them gets a boost from the repel, and they must make their way through a course of obstacles while rocketing at high speed. I think this would work best as you can have a ship stop dead when its rocket runs out, so host can easily see who has made it farthest. I realise this is exploiting a bug which may be fixed in the next version of Continuum, in which case, scrap this idea.

No its an elim but with the crazy settings like shroud of darkness, the constant blinking etc. The doors arent part of the elim.
