The growth of Trench Wars

I started playing 2 years ago, and I remember that when I started, there was hardly more people in Trench Wars than in Extreme Games. Now, there is usually at least double the people in TW than there is in the next biggest zone, EG.

TW is only going to get bigger, while the other zones get smaller. When a new person starts to play Continuum for the first time, they are likely going to first try the zone with the most people in it. That's what I did, and I'm sure almost everyone else did/does, too.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we hit 1000 people on peak times. Is this going to be sustainable? Will the server be able to handle that many people, and will PriitK be willing to pay for it?

Maybe when we reach 1000, people will get sick of the newbies and go play another zone, then all the newbies will see the good/known players gone follow them. Then this problem gets passed on to another zone and i become the best (and only) player in tw.

Then again, maybe not.

which is strange, because the TW map is so much smaller than most other zones.

I tried out a few zones, then decided they all sucked. Too large, too much bullets. Except for Trench Wars.

The maximum theoretical number of people on the server at once is 1024. If we ever get more, we'll either need new software or more than one server.
