New Screen Names

It has come to my attention that there are a lot of idle players. I think we all could guess that this is true, but we need to do something about it. Maybe if a player hasnt signed on for 30 days, there screen name is able to be taken by another player who wishes to have the screen name...moderators and administrators, please take this thread seriously!

Well 30 days or 2 months is way too fast. I don't think it would kill anyone to wait 6 months or more for a name that isn't even theirs. If the name has lots of usage the time should be even longer... It would be stupid for some dumbass newbie to be able to steal my name EEK! A Spider! just because I don't use it much anymore. Its still my name!! Names with like 500 or 1000 or more usage really don't need to be reset... If someone has used a name for years I think we could safely say its their name and not somebody elses.

Why would you want to use a name that was previously used and well known anyways?

I guess it doesn't matter, because names with 1000+ hours of usage probably will never reset to begin with.

The exact amount isn't disclosed to the public. However I think it is probably around 750-1000.

Names should be original too. Don't worry about your name that much unless it's like supa_aznkilla452^_^ Frankly, as long as you can give yourself a decent reputation, your name will be recognized more and more.

(I went through a period of name hopping at about 300h usage intervals, I know this from experiance.)

Frankly, as long as you can give yourself a decent reputation, your name will be recognized more and more.

This guy is right! An example of this is DoCk>. Nobody would think that name is elite if DoCk> wasn't a sysop and all around cool guy with an extensive collection of pictures of hot Asian girls.

Another angle to look at this would be me. Spider is pretty decent name but everyone knows I'm a newbie so it isn't really very cool!
