    Oh, Say Can You See. . .

    That's right, the Star-Spangled banner is presiding over the Trench Wars community for at least the next seven days! After a hard-fought battle, spanning the course of three explosion filled and action packed hours and ending with a one on one between Kim (Asia/Australia) and the eventual winner Selex (United States of A), that western powerhouse came out on top! Not to be overshadowed, Aerin, Anon, Fission, Mess and Randedl led a Canadian peacekeeping contingent that finished with the top five individual scores! Fission led the way with a dominating 98-25 record! Big Macs, Nascar and Liberty for all!

    -AND-

    Dodgeball was a little different this week! Those crazy staff members were out in full force and flaunting their power as shield-weilding, bomb-releasing, superpowered dynamos! When all was said and done, amidst the carnage of eighty-two other bodies mutilated by dodgeballs flying just a little fast, Amputate stood alone, tears streaming from his eyes as he realized the truth: Victory had come! In an awesome display of evasion, Ampuate was the only remaining soul remaining on the battlefield, good job! Bea-killing machine-sty <ZH> was by far the most dangerous thrower with a disgusting record of 415-0 and a bounty of 6647! Incredible!

    Ünited Stätes Toughens Image With Umlauts WASHINGTON, DC—In a move designed to make the United States seem more "bad-assed and scary in a quasi-heavy-metal manner," Congress passed a bill Monday changing the nation's name to the Ünited Stätes of Ämerica. "Much like Mötley Crüe and Motörhead, the Ünited Stätes is not to be messed with," said Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK). An upcoming redesign of the Ämerican flag will feature the new name in burnished silver wrought in a jagged, gothic font and bolted to a black background. A new national anthem is also in the works, to be written by composer Glenn Danzig and tentatively titled "Howl Of The She-Demon."
