I didnt read much of this bc alot of posts were long, but i must say that u probably DO die MORE then u kill in cloaker. They are slower, slower turn radius, slower bullets, 1 short rocket, and 1 repel. U cant get very far w/o being good at it. Sure ur invisible to some ppl (shipz w/o x) but u are seen by the fastest ship. Any person who is good in cloaker will agree and say that its alot harder then it looks. I once got 860+ bty in cloaker and i'll tell u it took me pretty damn long and it took alot of patience to constantly get awy from terrs. where in WB u can jsut warp away or RUN bc it is faster! Onl thing i do hve to say about cloaker is, put the small one (the one in pub) into TWL instead of the big one.

Edit: The weasel isn't very good as it is now. Like someone mentioned in my thread, theoretically, the worst TW player using a weasel could kill the best TW player using a warbird. That's just not right.

Why wouldn't it be alright if a random weasel killed one of the best wb pilots in the game? I mean come on, in TWL it would be considered an unfair advantage to have stealth, and rightfully so. Although in a pub, it's adds another element of luck and fun. Not everyone on this game is obsessed with being the best, alot of people just come on for an hour or two a day to have fun messing around in a pub. Why take that away?

yes it has i probably havent played it but once or twice since the little 1 came out, but i just checked it now. It is still slower then all ships but levi, that naturaly making the turning radius slower. The bullets are still slow also, compared to anyone else's bullets. And to add onto that, cloaker cant recharge while cloaked/stealth. U need atleast 1 turned off so ur atleast visible sometime.

If weasels had the Camelot/Bigbase settings, people would hardly ever complain about being lamed by them again, because it would be partially or completely their fault for getting killed, unlike how it is now. Seriously, try out the weasel settings in Bigbase. They make the wease less lame, but still a stealthy ship that now has the ability to actually kill people without cloaking or just getting really lucky because someone ran into one of your shots.

Cloaker use to be atleast useful for 1 death of basnig games, sure nowdays it isnt bc they have the bot yell out when ships wer changed and to what ship so every one knows, but b4 that sometimes u could sneak a cloaker into base catching a terr offguard and killing him. Although in TWL u can do it bc u had no ship changes.

This ship would be useless in open space, but in base it could sit and create semi-permanent no-go areas, or walls of doom!

So why are you worried about what other people complain about?
Simply put: People will ALWAYS find a reason to complain.
Hence the insult "newb" or "lame".
Someone called me lame today when I was sharking for repp'ing them
into a mine. People will find fault with -anything-.
Not to mention:
It isn't the ship, it's what the pilot does with the ship that determines
whether anything is crappy or not. If a weasel flies around in spawn,
and X'es every still ship they can find, yeah, that's kinda crappy.
But someone will come after em for it. The circle of life so to speak.
There's nothing wrong with the weasel, and the fact that you want to
change it to settings that would make it "partially or completely" the
target's fault for getting killed, speaks volumes.

Does it? The weasel's my favorite ship, and I myself usually don't mind being killed by it. Still, though, usually when you get killed by a weasel, it's not your fault. I just don't think that's a very good way for it to be.

i think that weasels and levis should stay as they are...forgive me but theres just more to a weasel and lev than a wb and a true and consistent positive ratio can only be attained by those who are skilled at it. to call an x lame is the same as calling a lanc lame...ur just not good enuff of a wb to dodge the shots (lanc) or fly in a predictable/stationary pattern (xs).
For those who make a spwn into a big deal consider that the more you annoy a x the more its gonna hunt you. many of the good players just ignore the fact that they got xed once or twice cuz they know that xs dun like to attract attention by spwning the same person over and over.

here's an observation:

65% die by a single terrier
30% make it out alive
5% can survive 2 or more

it took me months to polish the dodging skills so that i can consistently survive 3 terriers with multifires thats alot more skill than a wb requires
