I don't know if the contest is still on, but still I made these 2 banners in a hurry.
Everthing except the ships are made with photoshop cs. Not really that speciall, but still I like it. If there would be still some time left to do banners, I could spend some more time then 10-15 mins making banners.Endless space, endless exploration.Comment

I prefer the top one, the font is sexier.
One thing I'd change would be the slogan, using...
