For those of you needing firm verbal confirmation that it was all a hoax:
No, the Department of Justice is not shutting down Subspace. No, Subspace was not purchased by EA. Most likely, they've never even heard of us. No, Subspace 2: Legacy will not be designed, developed, or released. No, Subspace will not become pay to play. Yes, it was all a big joke. Yes, I own subspacetwo.com. And finally, yes, a great many people had quite a good laugh at your expense.
I suppose you'd probably like to thank or send hate mail to the key people involved, so here they are.

All the sysops and site operators of the zones that participated were also involved. I'll be compiling a list as time goes on but I have no clue how many zones and sites participated. The effect kinda snowballed upon itself.
We'll be converting subspacetwo.com to Subspace 2: Legacy of a Hoax, and provide you with funny logs, tidbits, screenshots, etc... and the backstory of what we did to preserve our little stunt for posterity.
