    New Forum Request

    Hi there, TW Staff and forum visitors.

    I may be relatively new to the TW forum community, but I have a request to make. Would it be possible to start up a Strategy and Tactics forum?

    With the number of quite excelent players who visit these forums on a daily basis, I am sure that we could get some excelent discussion on the finer points of Trench Wars. I see the purview of this forum being everything from general tactics (do you think in spider duels, it is best to let the other guy fire the first shot?) to very specific strategies (what is the best mine layout for ?go firebase?).

    If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

      I think if you sift through the meaningless drivel, and there is a lot of it, you'll find that we already have threads here and there which discuss tactics. It's really not a hot enough subject to warrant its own forum, in my opinion.

        If you make friends with some more seasoned players, most of them would be happy to give you some tips/pointers.

        Out of curiosity, which area are you referring to? Warbirds, Javelins, or Basing?

          Well, I am quite happy with my current play-style (well, everything except Terrier, Leviathan, and Weazel, but I generally only play those under durress). I am not aking for tips and pointers so much as hoping to create a place to discuss tactics and strategies among a large section of the community, and maybe even help n00bs at the same time.
