TW Staff really aren't that bad

For the past 3 days I've been on a "forced break" from TW. I spent a lot of time in zones like Death Star Battle, Chaos SVS, Extreme Games, etc.

A lot of people complain about how the TW staff sucks, but after witnessing the staff of the other SSC zones, I think we should all be thankful that the staff system of TW is the way it is.

In zones like EG, the mods often spam their ads like 3-4 times in a row. Then in the hosted game arena, they will do *arena messages like 5-6 times in a row. Not a big deal but it is very annoying and a lot less "professional" than the TW staff. Also, many other zones are a lot more lax when it comes to spamming/racism/being a dick. I even witnessed a staff member of Chaos SVS use the "N" word. Not setting a very good example...

Anyway, I definately was not impressed by the staff of the other zones. I think that everyone should check out the other zones sometime and see how less organized and professional the staff are in zones other than TW.

No, don't give me any bullshit about sucking up or anything like that. I just think you should cut TW some slack, because although there are a few problems, we definately have some of the best staff out of all the SSC zones.

I concur. We have the best staff in Continuum, but that doesn't mean there is room for improvement. It's sort of like how America is the best country in the world (I don't think anyone at all can argue this) but we could still get EVEN better.

Yeah, and considering that it usually takes me about 10 minutes to actually get banned from another zone...TW staff is good.

it's not that bad but as Stab said, can use a few improvements there and there.

Other zones, the staff is so corrupt like in (SSCI Gundam Wing? think thats the rightserver initials...) and SSZ Mythic Kingdom, the mods are really corrupt, play favorites, dont enforce rules, etc. Staff in TW are definetly best in all of ss...but still could use some improvements, just nto nearly on the scale of other zones

There are a few bad staff members, and they do sometimes piss me off... for example one <ZH> hopped on my ?help call and then told me that he didn't know the answer. But seriously the TW staff system as a whole is a lot better than most.

Would you prefer he hopped on your help call and made something up? When you take ahelp call you don't know, you ask around, and if no one on staff knows, they tell you they don't know.

i'm fairly sure that he would have prefered that the <ZH> in question did not take the help call unless he knew the answer or said he'd try to find out for him. If you take the help call and then say "umm... i dunno" then it's pretty much the same as not taking the help call.

No kidding eh? The only thing that could make that sort of acceptable, is if the staffer said, "I asked around, and no one knows". At least then we'd cue stabbing ourselves
