I like it the way it is. Makes your team use more coordination and communicate more in order to not be killed by an enemy mine or a repelled team mine.
it depends.. in base.. i dont see the fun to have all the same color.. being tked when you're ter.. it's really bad hehe.. now i see someone saying : you just have to not get killed by a mine.. yah right

One thing that would be better is different colored bursts for enemies. They are so fast and deadly that it would only make sense to be able to see if it's going to kill you or not.

i dont agree dodging bursts is cool.. THATS give you more challenge.. i dont see any challenge or tactic with mines if they are all the same color anyway.. that's personal

Here's a decent idea... don't fly into mines of any color.
And if your sharks are basing and they're laying mines in places people routinely fly over (such as the flagroom door) then either get a different shark, or stop playing for that team.
Knowing when to go through a mine field is an important part of play. Any shark worth his salt knows when to tell his team when those mines aren't his or when to wait for repels. This idea is good only in the sense that it dumbs down the game.
