  • The Squad Forums

    Make them visible on the front page- if you dont like them use that minimize thing so they arent visible. It's annoying to have to click like that. It actually would cost more bandwidth because people have to visit 2 pages instead of one.

      Hmm, lets' think about this for a bit. Of all the people who use the forums, the people who have squad forums is less than 1%. Lets use a whole 1% for the basis of comparison. You're saying that putting more data on a page hit by 99% of people using the forum will use less bandwidth than causing 1% of people to to click an extra link to see their squad page? Hmm. I see a 100 to 1 advantage here, and that's still assuming the percentage of forum members who have a squad on the squad forums is 1%.

      Here's a trick. Bookmark your squad forum, and hit the bookmark to get back to it. That way you only have to click once.

      Anyway, the forums use about two gigs of bandwidth a day. A little less or a little more won't do much to change things anyhow.
