The best way to get on a squad is to hang out in:

?go wbduel
?go javs
?go baseelim
?go javduel

Practice a lot, and someone will notice you eventually.

there are a lot of people in there all the time, but they are in ghost mode so you cant see them or their names. mainly its a place for squadowners to scout out potential skill.

Or look for Tryout arenas. Start from the bottom and work your way to the top through experience.

Trust me, Dirty Uncle Jerome didn't take no shit from no ninny squads. I whored the forum until I got to about 500 posts or so, then I had to walk the walk to backup the talk. Juice, then the Scrubs- not bad for some first timer squads. Sure, before that I joined squads, but it was like PriitK and LAME- I was in it to make the squad look better, didn't actually have to play.

Like Fit of Rage said, hang out in popular areas where you can be noticed

?go javs
?go baseelim
?go elim
?go base

It depends what your best ship is. If you best ship is a Warbird (esc 1) Then you should hang around the ?go wbduel and ?go elim area. If you are a javelin, *esc 2*, hang around ?go baseelim, ?go javs, and go ?javduel. ?go javduel isnt hosted much, so stick to baseelim and javs. If you are good in ships 3-8, not including Levithian, go to ?go base. Mostly practice, and people will notice you. Check out "tryout" arenas too. If you aren't good enough, just practice. All you can do is practice.

Post a lot of non-entertaining posts on these forums and always stay in spec instead of playing. You'll be in a TWL-class squad in no time. Just look at Jerome! Ok, so well he is occationally funny though...
