I talked to arobas about this. He said he's going to submit it to a bot programmer so that you could !query <playername> about their ships, and the bot would tell you their main and secondary ship.

If it was going to do that, it would be a lot better if the bot told you the top 2 ships the person has been picked in, instead of what the person "says" they are best at.

Also, this would be a lot easier to do and wouldn't really have to be maintained after it was implemented.

it depends.. i can play very well in ter against a team of newb in pub but it doesnt mean im a good ter..

The bot should also have an overall awesomeness grade implented for the few overall awesome basers in the game, like myself.

A short description of my basing awesomeness:

My skills in spider are of a grade that makes it unfair to have me on your team. But then again I usually get bored from the lack of competition, so I just try for, let's say, 25%. But with me you will never lose a game, I can always throw in a few more %s and edge the game. (EDIT: No racism intended, I got a squaddie who is an Arab and we get a long fine!!!)

Placing me in a terrier is a guarantee for an amazing, vividly game. My style is so agressive that I make Mythrandir look like a wimp, and an Arab like a non-homicidal humanbeing.

I've made the so-called best terriers leave subspace for weeks after raping their asses for 10 minutes straight. Placing me in a warbird too often will simply kill basing.

You shouldn't shark me unless you want a quick and boring game. When I shark, I know my role, and give myself completly for the team without a question asked. But usually the easiness of cramming bores me down completly and then I start doing "crazy" stuff. I am the reason they call the shark the shark, I'm known to make people wonder if the shark isn't a too strong offensive ship.

Did I mention Nockm was my apprentice in javelin? Says enough. With my superior timing I can easily force terriers to stay away from the flagroomentrance for a whole game without actually shooting a bomb.

I don't know if I'm one of those people you are referring to, but all I do is shark and spider. I've been picked as a shark a lot recently...don't know if it means anything. Anyway.... I probably am one of those delusional people.

Actually I wasn't really serious. Especially in my squad I'm a pretty modest person, I think a lot of ego's in a squad only kills the teamspirit. But to people I don't know I like to act, sometimes as an egoistical bastard, yeh. Of course I know I'm only one of the best in spider, well maybe not even anymore these days, not sure I should be a little bit more active.

Besides Nockm owns me in all ships.
