Almost everyone who plays nowadays got their names through resets, exceptions that I can think off would be epi fbz and disqualifier.

If you created your name after august (i think) '99 your name has been reset at least once since that was when the first one took place.

So anyway just wait it out untill a good name becomes available or just be creative (creative = not adding a dot btw).

i got this name basically when i started playing tw, but id give anything for names Shadow or Darkness. even 5$ big ones :eek: its nice to have a good name when u play but for some reason ppl think it has to be one word. Examples: Anything National Adress, i mean those name suck...unlike Destroy or Archer. best way to get the name u want is either buy it (a few ppl sell names, and who do have a very large selection of good names) or start slowly trading and eventually you will get it, unless there cheap ass vets who wont give up their names or squads, yea i am looking at u roxy

For the guy starting this thread:

Names are recycled with different rules:

If a name has over a certain number of hours (like 1000) it is never reset.
The more usage a name has, the longer it takes to reset.
If a name is ?squadjoined to a squad, it takes longer to reset.

Given these factors, you may or may not recieve the name you desire. Like everyone beforehand said, stick it out, maybe you'll come across a name you like. I have a couple spare names that a friend gave me, PM me or message me in game and maybe I'll give one to you.

Yes, the name strider has no squad with it so I hope it wont take that long to recycle. I also hope the guy doesnt log on every now and then just to keep the name :/ Thanks for everyone who responded it was much appreciated. I also have a couple cool names for trading if anyone is interested thanks
