I'm not trying to start up a dead thread but nasir's thread is quite correct in the sense that people have used the name. I remember the last time I saw Gryll of Chaos on staff and it was really Ravage for a few months before he quit staff, I use to play on the name sometimes aswell. I can name about five people I know for sure that use the name or recently used the name, me being one of them.

I received a few messages regarding this instance this morning, and did some back checking. While it is possible that Gryll of Chaos may have allowed exploid to use his name at one time, now that is not the case.

I confirmed the IP's and Machine ID's, and did traces to their locations, and unless exploid is somehow in Korea (Gryll's current location with the military) and Pennsylvania (exploid's current place of residence), there is no way that exploid could be masking himself as Gryll of Chaos or Gryll <ZH>.

I thank you for your concern, as issues like this could be potentially disasterous if true.

I think the above pretty much explains it all. Like I said, people may have used his name, but they are not now. I checked this boy out every way known to us in the game, and a few tricks outside of the game (IP tracing etc).

He only said that he ip checked him, he didn't go into detail that he used other methods to find out if it's really him. I didn't understand how he had the same ip sense he was transfered - stationed to a millitary base in korea, wouldn't he have an old ip from when he was back in America? Although Now it's clear that he has acess to a millitary email acocunt and PUSHER did some backround checking I think it's safe to say it's really him. My concern wasn't so much that it's not gryll who's using the name but other people sharing the name, for when he was staff we all got to go on and have some fun.

PUSHER, what are you going to make sure people don't use the name?
