Outside of the arena in ?go wormhole

Why is being outside of the arena in ?go wormhole illegal? One of the reasons people go to that channel is to get warped outside and fight there cause it's fun, no gravity. SwimKid and Buja for some reason came and threatened to ban people outside, but I asked them about 50 times, and they wouldn't give a JUSTIFICATION or REASON for it. All they said was "it's illegal" and "it's against the rules." Can someone please tell me a reason why being outside the boundaries in an arena like this is wrong?

Or maybe pointless rules should be fixed?

This baffling lack of logic truly boggles the mind.

being out of the map boundaries in any arena is bannable because it's not part of the actual game play that was intended. Therefore considered it is cheating and the same as abusing a bug.

But it's fun! And it doesn't harm anyone in any way! The problem with cheating isn't that it wasn't intended but that it hurts other people's enjoyment of the game. But there is no similar externality related to playing outside in this single arena, especially when everyone playing it is trying to get outside so they can participate in this.

Look at the art arena, for example. Killing people wasn't intended there, so it could be considered a bug, but that's the main reason people go to that arena, because of the interesting settings it has.

The intentions of the area shouldn't matter. What should matter is whether people are having fun playing it a certain way without causing damage.

Please go to any Public arena and tell me what it says under the Rule 11 on the upper-left corner. That rule applies to every arenas in Trenchwars Zone. Buja and I are just here to enforce the rules.

Also, let's examine some of what was said after you left the arena (with names changed to protect the innocent), and see enforcing your rules are helping people have fun in TW:

Let me break this down in very simple terms:

1) TW exists for people to have fun.
2) If TW was unregulated, some people might take actions (such as cheating) that take away fun from others, contrary to (1)
3) Therefore, there are rules to regulate it, to allow (1) to occur

What if these rules have a few unintended consequences that keep people from having fun even when they are doing no harm to others?

You could
A) enforce the rules, such that people have less fun, being consistant with (2) but preventing (1) from occuring
B) allow the rules to be bent, which violates (2), but since (2) only exists to allow (1), it doesn't matter that the rules are bent

I was on Send just browsing through the arenas, when i found ?go wormhole. I went there and started mining to kill, eventually i got emped near a wormhole and flew outside. Buja X was bitching and was yelling at ppl in public chat to get in the arena.

1. How is going outside an arena a wrongful thing to do, how is it annoying in any way?

I eventually got emped and flew outside the arena, made myself to A1 with another guy a. I said in pub chat 'finally i make it outside', and some sneaky suckups ?cheater me and Buja X, in another arena PM's me with 'Get in the arena now', i start saying its bullshit because there was no rule about it and it didnt hurt anyone to leave an arena. He then pms me with: Your Last warning. And I give in and warp inside. I say 'Im inside now'. He doesn't respond. So I get emped near the wormhole again and fly outside. I say 'Im outside, Bujas in another arena so I can meet some guy at A1'. Some people say 'Ok ill meet you there'. I start flying when all of a sudden it says I get spiked and disconnected. I then go to Extreme Games and Capital Knockers says that you cant be banned unless you get an official red warning. I didn't get an official red warning. I just got some shit in green and got banned. If I knew he was serious I would of warped in. Don't start saying stuff like you must have realized, even if I did, the rule is I MUST be officially warned, however I didn't. Please unban me.


So yea, why IS it illegal?

PS. I dont even know who I was banned by, and Buja And Swimkid pmed me with a total of 2 lines, which iPmed him back asking why its illegal, which he did not answer.

Apparently yes, when it's not even being hosted I get banned for going outside. How does it abuse bugs anyways? It doesn't put pressure or annoy anyone and doesnt abusing mean doing something illegal for your own good? How was that 'abusing'.
