Regarding the matter, I did over react when it came to the banning. All the bans have been lifted. It doesn't change the fact that being outside the arena is illegal. I did post WHY it's illegal in the 3rd post I think. Also when someone gives you a warning, please don't act like an ass afterwards like saying "FUCKING NEWB POWER ABUSING 13 YR OLD STAFFER" or taunting the staffer with "I'M OUTSIDE COME BAN ME NEWB <ER>! YOU CAN'T CUZ YOU'RE AN <ER>". (i'm not talking about you foobarz but i'm talking about someone else). So anyway, sorry I overreacted.

How many of you people have ever gone to ?go cannons? There is a bug there that when someone reps and then you rocket, you go flying outside the box. People there actually wanna go out. They ask the other team to rep them just so they could go outside. It is also very fun fighting outside the arena because you aren't affected that much by the gravitational pull of the wormholes.

I was just outside and yes, i did put up somewhat of a short argument since i knew that I was right. I was more passive agressive, the only thing that might even account for an insult is "btw ers can't ban" no caps or anything.
That was when I was still inside, when I whent outside later on, yes i was banned.

I "knew" i was right since i have seen ER and ZH tags outside of the ?go wormhole arena. Others simply ignored the fact people were outside even if they were spawned by levis and sharks outside. Knowing that, I thought upper staff would naturally send the right information (Kudos to 2dragons)

ppl need to chill about being outside of wormhole. its like some random event, that you can't just do, it happens. if its not even a hosted event, why bother? they're not ruining anyone's fun in the center, and they're having fun exploring the empty boredom of the outside.

Dude, I know you were just giving your opinion, but you might want to consider using forum PM's for this kinda situation in the future. You should be sticking up for your fellow staffer, solidarity, fuck the masses. The whole bit. The point was that these guys were warned, moved out, and instead of "oh well ok" no.. they put up a fight. That shouldn't be tolerated, put the kybosh on that shit as soon as it starts so people KNOW 100% of the time "Do not argue". If you have a problem, resolve it through official channels, that's what they're there for.

I think the wrong message is being sent, by telling people that it's fine and dandy to bitch and moan as long as you "think" you're not hurting anyone.

Notice the way Leaf posted, he would just suggest warping them back into the interior of the map, but I'm guessing he'd also tell them not to go back out I bet. And if someone gave him a bunch of lip about it, I'm betting they're goign to find themselves in progressively hot water. Notice: he didn't comment as to that aspect.

And yeah, the reason I didn't use a forum PM is because it addresses lots of people, I don't have anything against Send, but his ban for probably just a day or 2 or whatever, shouldn't have been lifted, but that's also not my call. I just think it sends the wrong kind of message.

u guys ware wrong, just look at the rules at a1. Buja had to spec the ppl who was outside after a warn & maybe lock the arena. the bans are lifted & such things so lets drop this sh!t.

First of all Rule 11 is intended for the pub maps only. The bug of sometimes killing someone with a mine as they hit the wall to go outside the wormhole map has been around for a long time. If the arena isn't being hosted, it does not matter if some people want to go in there and have a little fun. However if the events being hosted by someone than the host can host it how he wants I suppose.

Compare this to walking against red when crossing a road. If there are no cars or cops around there will be no harm done to anyone. But at the same time, you might not have complete control and an accident could happen.
In real life, you would follow the orders of a cop if he told you not to walk against red.
In subspace there is at least one potential reason to not go outside the arena boundaries in an unhosted arena, and for staffers to take action against people who does it:
1. People should not learn how to abuse bugs in the map.

Now you might think this is trivial, I might too, but if you are warned for breaking a rule I suggest you follow those orders and do what the staffer tells you to do.
Besides, you don't have to be officially warned in red for it to count as a warning. An arena message and/or green message with sound is also counted as a warning.

Please go to any Public arena and tell me what it says under the Rule 11 on the upper-left corner. That rule applies to every arenas in Trenchwars Zone. Buja and I are just here to enforce the rules.
