I was thinking, and I found it strange that the wb can dodge by turning or decelerating/boosting, but it can't move laterally, ie. a barrel roll. I carried on thinking about other ships... I also thought about weapon options/changes, this is what I came up with:
Note: How far barrel roll moves you sideways depends on your current speed (IE: Weasel will not roll far!)
Wbird: Same as before, only barrel roll either way (A/D keys as default?)
Jav: Give a max of 2 rear multifire, add third shot to front... No barrel rolling/lateral dodge
Spid: Turn faster, slightly weaker energy? No barrel roll but perhaps a small speed boost (like a dogfighting version of the wb)
Lev: No barrel rolling but add one rear-firing shot in multifire (As in WW2 bombers)
Terr: Can barrel roll, reverse rocket? (propels terr backwards for short time), Make multi bullets rear firing/diagonal?
Weasel: Same speed, faster turning, can roll (but not far), Multi is two forward firing, one backwards. (Possible weak L1 EMP bomb/cloaked mine (shows on radar but not on screen, uncovered by Xradar))
Lanc: CAN'T roll (I imagine Lanc as heavy fighter, too slow & unmaneuvrable to roll), Make multishot fire closer together (make it less lame)
Shark: Can't roll, max of 6 mines, Rear firing L1 gun?
