I had a site awhile back they had around 1000 hits a day, made about.... $200-300 a month worth of clicks, but i think now a days they pay around half as much per click than before (or less).

The number on the left is megabytes, the number on the right is gigabytes. The numbers for July, so far, given the date, are on track at roughly half that. Keep in mind I compress my outgoing bandwidth to save load time and increase speed. This reduces bandwidth consumption by roughly 50%.

For trenchwars.org alone, we have had 725,799 hits this month. Last month, there were 1,781,767 hits.

For forums.trenchwars.org, we've had 1,416,140 hits this month. Last month, there were 3,087,044 hits.

For twd.trenchwars.org, we've had 2,844,700 hits this month. Last month, there were 6,374,875 hits.

Trenchwars.org gets lots of hits and lots of traffic. But I don't think we'll be going the banner route any time soon. Honestly bothering the roughly 40,000 members of our community with ads they'll never look at isn't something I'm interested in doing.

I would like the idea, I mean 10 popups aren't that bad when you are surfing with mozilla or having pop-up blocker. I wouldn't mind some banners either.

I wouldent mind banners (as long as they arent the ones that give you seziures), but popups, on the other hand, are a diffrent story.
