I'm making this because I don't feel like explaining the situation to all the people that will ask me about it. Here seems like an easy place for everyone that wants to know about this issue, to find it.
Concerning Defiancy, I have resigned as captain, squadowner, and player. Ray J has been given ownership, and he is captain along with Ravenfeather. This is a pretty sticky matter so I'll try to keep it short. After the Melee loss, which seemed to hit everyone pretty hard, we lost a few starting level players. I did my best to make sure everyone realized we still had next twl and whatnot to think about and as did Ray.
Although when I logged in today. Multipul members have left, were planning to leave, and I have 4 squad invites in my ?message box because apparently we are dissolving. After a long and rough PM conversation with Ray, I axed him. I won't go into detail, but I had quite a bit of reason to do so. If anyone would like to question my reasoning, I have the entire conversation logged and screenshotted.
This caused an understandable extreme upset among squaddies, especially the younger ones. Basically the entire squad was ready to fold, and I realized how loyal everyone was to Ray. I talked with Ray for almost an hour, in which he agreed to re-join. I gave him ownership/capt then, and demoted myself. I thought this would be the best option, considering everyone seemed to be extremely angry with me, and loyal to ray. The point in which the squad was at, was a bad one. It needed loyalty and hard work to survive. Very few members had any of either for me, so I did what I thought was the best thing for the squad at the time.
I left for different reasons. I am one of the very few that stayed on that squad since I joined. I am also among the most active. The original squadowner himself has left the squad, and no other captain had ever held his/her position since recieving it. I tried my best, but I just can't run a squad that has no loyalty. I left because people seemed to still have a problem with me, and it was causing unrest in the squad. I want the squad to do well, so I did what I hope was the best thing.
I'm sorry to everyone that is involved with TWL, this is the second time I have failed as a captain and there won't be a third. I sincerly hope Ray j gets them through TWL at very least, the last thing we need is another dropout. Sorry to the few that wanted me to stay, but it wasn't doing any good staying and I'm tired of the disloyalty and etc. I wish you all on Defiancy, and former members the best of luck with whatever you choose to do. I don't hold grudges in a video game.

. But, we have seen potential talent and talent coming out of you guys. Stick to your goals, and maybe next TWL you'll be on a good squad (not saying you guys suck
