Sharks and Shark Duos

I think ur all forgetting a2m who is probably the single most elite shark in TWL of all time. He can sometimes shark better solo then 2 ppl can together.

Ivan, you're right, stats don't mean anything, but they do in fact outline this season's good sharks. You might argue that Musashi isn't on there, but I really don't think he was one of the great sharks this season. He's decent, and he's come from nothing, but I don't think he's stellar at all. He's not a shark that can turn the tide of a game around, like Grev, Stab, Panhandler, or Jr5. I'll give him one thing though, he is deffinetly the most valuable shark for your squad though, and you guys have been putting together a very nice group of basers, to say the least.

First of all, I said I used the league stats only as a guide. I see no sense in considering pub ?Base since it has turned into the Base equivalent of Elim (record whores).
I consider 'team play' as one of the most important aspects, as well as skill, loyalty, and the ability to NOT act like a screaming, arrogant and egotistical moron (since this, IMHO, hurts a team). Take Gabraham as an example, he showed up for every game and showed defensive restraint by greatly limiting his mining.
Ivan, sorry if I didn't make myself clear, besides it's my opinion only. You guys choose on the merits you wish, I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to question your perspective/opinion.

Haha paul thanks, but you are wrong in a bit. Musashi wasn't on stats because he only played 3-4 games this season, he always miss games because he always slept pass the time =\. Anyway, he really make sures all enemy's bullets goes outside and make sure BC spiders regroup. He's a sexy beast in chat too!

Now, where are old skool Crips and WFs sharks, where's Phyre, where's Pallies sharks, Ryan and Castro are great duo, where's Mattey, bz, Epi is a good underrated shark, Miau rules inactivness, so does Jonas, Moot is kickass shark too, Wind, Grev, Cred own, Zerzera was great smart shark while he sharked.
I personally dislike playing in team with laggy sharks like Stabwound, Vat, Dyers and similar, their reps always work late on my screen.
Do they have skills ? Dunno, todays basing does not let sharks show off their skills in so many ways as before. Can they hold cram ? That, they can.

Voth, how can dttr be considered most overrated when he almost never plays shark?

My picks would be (in no particular order):

fireballz - most aggressive ... gets most kills while still being able to help his team
jr5 - good teamwork
Gab - same as above (gab and jr for best shark pair ... i'm biased of course =/)
Greven - smart sharking
Credit Account - smart
Mootland Farmer - sort of like fireballz

In general I think that there are sharks who are very good at playing solo ... but the real test is whether or not you have chemistry with your partner ... and in general, if you can adapt to playing with diff partners and diff lineups.

and Voth, im not even a shark. I've only sharked some games this season because Epi is gone until the beginning of playoffs and nobody else can shark at a decent level. Also Ripper is gone for who knows how long.

Tyrome & Xog - Wtf? Sure no one else may consider them great sharks, but I've watched them both at their best. If they both kept sharking together for a while longer (which they didn't) they could easily get to be one of the top duos.

The old cripple sharks are no where to be found, or atleast arent in basing league.

Danyaldenyo, phyre,khisanth, wix, crazi, r no where to be found and were great sharks. Louis xv, hellkite, up in ya !!, me, acid, Mr. spam, flabin sharked for them but arent in basing league this year or rarely play. I mean thats a good bunch of guys and all were good @ some period of play but we'll never get the recognition bc we came b4 basing got real popular. Im sure there is others too i just cant remember em.

i like sharking with jr5, and i have with stab a couple times and that was fun. they seem to be able to communicate with me pretty well. like not chat communicate, but just like with the ship or whatever.
