Napalm Sunrise I - Would duel with him alot and although most of the time he would own me, I'de get alot of good tips and style play out of him. He taught me alot about reading certain types of players and such, which helped me out big time. Wish he would come back so we can duel more.

And anyone form the old -KAOS- days, who taught me the real value of teamwork in squad duels. Still remeber that tiome when we had a top spot game vs. Siege. WE TOOK 1 ROUND, HAHAHAHAHA.
    2 time TWLD runner up.

If not a medal, cant I get a Ribbon??

I would have to say, that ever since I started, primarily because I have a supremely competitive nature, I wanted to get better, and fast. So, simply put, I'm pretty much self-motivated, except I have learned things from players along the way.

Jack taught me once, that perserverance in this game would help you get good.

I used to watch Myth own so flawlessly, and I decided that was how I wanted to play, like a machine.

Domi I've always revered as a top jav(that is, when he in fact WAS a top jav), and when I watched and played versus him a long while ago, it was always real fun, which is the recipe for getting better.

Psymorph, same deal as Domi, a machine-like jav.

Tiny, for introducing me to this game, basically, and showing me the ropes so to speak.

banzi and crys had a similar role, and that was being a good challenge, and usually too much of a challenge, in elim when I flew the warbird more often.

Exquisite and Kim for being alongside myself for a while now, these two plus a handful of others(but mostly these two) have the best chemistry when it comes to javelins.

I've played this game so long lol =(

And that guy who first told me to stop shooting the yellow ships. Thanks dude, wherever you are.

And of course, Herc, for showing me how to own to the nth power. Also, personal reasons. (Herc, our baby is due in October, we have to meet soon, Crazer Hernockules needs a daddy.)

LOL, funny that you mentioned me Deck :P

          Rattys story:

Was new and had played for 2 days till i met a dude named ThunderMare who raped me, got amazed and started to use the WB.

Was a newbie and got mad skills in WB (5x better then what I've become today).
Owned the pub one handed 6:1 ratio or something like that, got lots of ratty fans, then Dethdefire found me and got me to join this newly made "clan", we started to votefor a name, and it was between Outcast or something and DragonGuard (I voted for Outcast ). And this dude named Annoying Spider in the squad always owned me, and it was then i started to become competitive.

Now I just suck, wish I got my mad newbie skills back.

                  As for shark:
                  • Stabwound - After having watched Stabwound as shark in ?go base so many times, I figured out what was needed to be done in shark...went on from there.

                  As for warbird:
                  • elim/wbduel - If it weren't for eRad rushing me, other ppl laming me in elim, I wouldn't be able to defend myself as well as I am able to now in wb. Nor would I have the playing style that I use. Thanks elame/wbduel!
                  • n0ah - n0ah would help me out every once in a while.

                    A little from everyone

There have been many people I have gleened tips from.

Early days on Time Lords I got tips from the capts/leadership like Galleleo, SpaceHiker, Credit Account when my best ship was a rawking base bird and I would plead with them to let me play bird. They would then sigh and call me a noob who didn't know how to base and explained how spiders ruled basing, and how birds were a "pub" ship.

Funny how later base bird started to be an impact ship when used right.

Early days on the squads we would go to a private arena and hash out what we thought were the best shark mining configurations and talk just about every basing strategy. Lot of that was SpaceHiker, Datrader, BossHawk and others.

I'd take tips from just about everyone, asking if they thought they had anything that worked really well for them. Then I'd hear them out and either use it or file it under "trash."

SpaceHiker has always been a good source for tips on most ships in the past b.c he's been playing the game for a fairly long time.
I came, I saw, I lagged out...

                    • There are obvious people who stick out as teaching me the ropes of trenchwars. It was '01 i'd been playing dsb for a year maybe more. I saw this guy named HTV, he was just about the best player I'd ever seen. So i joined a squad named WoH (world of hell) there were a few people on there of note i guess; Queen (lefty), A D A M, napalm sunrise I, and so on. So anyway, being new to trenchwars HTV helped me a bunch.. this was all up until the point where he got banned until the year 2027, and he eventually changed IPs and named himself H T V. From there i went to Ancients.. no one thought much of them, but I like Sweeper and friends. This was my first "hopping" incident situation. Sweeper was drunk way too much at squad duels, it wouldn't bother me in most cases but it did this time. From there I went to Implosive, this is where my favourite helpers were. Pegasis Z*E*R*0 and Skagen the pub MASTER. They helped me to a great extent. Since I'm tired of speaking of this, from there I ended up in Evolve<d>, Sk8, Cripples (long story), and last but not least Verone.. but now i'm back to my best helper, Pegasis, in Implosive where we forever remain.

Sorry if i hurt your eyes, lack of paragraphing and such.. but i just thought maybe you'd like to know all about tyf.
I dont think everyone agrees with you that tyf is a vet.. eeeeh? (2 tired to type the rest)

                      Pred

Edit: btw.. did you just compare raspi with tyflias? (roflmaoroamroamroam ramroamr amroaomroamraofmlamomarmlol)
