Suggestion for SS

This is something I've been thinking....

They should delte all users that havent played in a year.

This way alot of ppl can shose names like: nick instead of:

nick347783

I hate names with numbers!!!!!

ppl that have been innactive 1 year are probavly never gonna play ss again, its not like they go to a 1 year vacation....

Unless they changed policy while I was away, this is not true. Names do get reset occaisonally based on total usage and whether they are squaded and maybe some other stuff. A more complete explanation is somewhere on the forums, I'd look for it but I don't care that much.

priitk or someone posted a long time ago- names are reset based on some algorithm that depends on usage, how often you log on, last time you logged on... stuff like that

Pick a name, stick with it, die with it, its that easy. I've played with this name my whole subspace life.

It's annoying if a name you really want is taken, but lets face it. The name probably has enough usage on it else it would have been recycled already. Give up and stick with what you got.

Or you could just think up an orginial name, or your idea works to..

I've also noticed, lets say I create the squad C4L on the name Wix Is Gay, the name Wix Is Gay won't be recycled, ever.

Yes it does, when you do ?squadowner acertainsquad, and the owner is *UNKNOWN* is that the ownernick got recycled or something. I bet that the squad wont get dissolved untill all members are recycled or something.
