Burst change in pubs

I'm not sure if this has already been brought up somewhere in the forums, but does anyone know why the terrier's burst was changed in public arenas? It is now an automatic kill instead of being slightly random. Now, terrier is probably my favorite ship to use but give me a break!...bursts are fairly random as it is in pub so why increase the damage potential??

No....youre not getting me...im saying that it's TOO EASY for me to get kills in terrier now. If i have a team that greens quite a bit then I can get a fair amount of bursts. Whereas before when I aimed a burst at someone or fired from the many useful burst spots in the base I had a good probability of getting a kill but now my bursts are lethal...hell if there are more than 2 terriers on a team it's just complete domination with bursts....bursts flying every which way and tearing through their ranks...it's ridiculous.

but that is also when there is the other burst, that there are many burst in the arena itself, so it doesn't mather i think

The bursts did almost kill everytime they hit before so this change dosen't realy matter.

Not really cross. I use to get random'd bursted all the time.

Why was in changed in the 1st place? if anything the terr was already powerful enough for its purpose. Its not there to kill, its there to let ppl attach and kill when it has to.

Do pubs have fixed damage now?

a step forward into randomness as to who gets kills based on skill. there are probably less than 10 people in the zone who can actually say that they aimed for a specific person when they bursted on a consistant basis. that means everyone else is just dropping them and hoping for kills, which requires no skill at all. its a pretty skill-less weapon.

You see a bouncing laser coming at you? Dodge it. If you do, you don't die and you don't have to come to us with the fact that they kill you. And no, a terrier isn't overpowered. Its main guns can't kill a damn thing, and its speed doesn't help much in such a small area (flagroom). And considering the average pub basing team, the terrier wouldn't be getting proper shark defense either.
