First of all, I didn't go to the army for religious reasons, at least you could respect that. And how can you say I should get less, You get a house to live in, you get clean cloathes everyday, you get plenty of meals everyday. I haft to do that all by myself. im just pissed off that im here...

also.. you think i dont have an apartment, dont pay rent, dont have to buy food and drink etc on weekends? im sure my expenditures are atleast par with yours, probably higher, especially since you smoke about 2x as much here as you normally do.

sure i get food three times a day and i have a bed to sleep in over here, but as far as i know you get food at work so that leaves what for you to purchase, breakfast and whatever you want to eat after work.

the food here is so god awful i wouldnt eat it if they payed me, so i still have to pay 3 square meals a day.

clean clothes every day? please. once a week. so i pretty much take all my shit home and wash it if i get out on weekends.

plus then we have all kinds of extra expenditures when things break or get lost in the forest..

im about 1400euro down since i joined the army, that was just under 3 months ago, hell i spent less money when i was a civilan and ate out every day, including weekend drink and food + my nicotine habit, and whatever else i would purchase on impulse or by necessity.

you civil service dudes do have it so much better.

now im not dissing the fact that you didnt join due to religion, what gets to me is the fact that you are "complaining" about it.. hell if i had a "choice" i wouldnt do army service.. do i really have a "choice".. hell no.

i live with 3 friends and we all hang out at our house, drinking is just across the hall from the computers/games/tvs/stereo's

and we have a pretty big house about a 10 mins walk from the college so a lot of our other friends hang out here most of the time...

so yeah, why go outside?

Last time I heard, if you had friends over at your house, you wouldn't be playing a computer game. First of all, that would be stingey (or however you spell it) if you played by yourself and secondly, what loser would play a computer game when his "friends" are over. Also, when I was active, you were always on whenever I was on, and I played a good amount. Anyway, I don't really care, your life is your on, if that's what you choose to do, then so be it. Although pathetic, what can be done? Apparently nothing.

If you put it in that way, I surely understand you. I haven't been to the army, but I sure have heard things, but I never expected it to be that hard. Well the army should be paying your rent if you hade your aparment some months before joining.

Accually you have a choice, you can choose what ever food you want to eat in teh near future, you have a choice to either walk over the streets with green light, or go when its red. It's you who make your future, it is you that decide what to do and how you do it.

I hope you'lle get things better after the army, that all your money problems and other problems would fade away. I'm sorry that I complained about my income and other things, if I would have knew that you would have feelt this way, I would have never even wrote what I wrote.

Anyway, I chose you because every once in a while when I checked these forums, you would always be bitching or making some deflamatory statement about something or how your life was so much better than others when in fact, from what I understood from your description, you lack a life.
