Macro Bot

Roei and I were thinking today. Would it be able for tw matchbots to give out coordinates during dd's?

I was thinking, before the game, you could be like, !coordteam or !coordenemy for whichever one you want before you ready the game. It would be like this after every 20 second time interval:

Basic - %area , %coord
(1 second later) Roei - %area , %coord
(1 secomd later) Cook - %area , %coord
(1 second later) Zloy - %area , %coord

Thats an example of giving the coords of your teammates i.e. !coordteam
Then it would do it all over again after 20 seconds.

I know it will waste a lot of bandwidth, but for people who absolutely rely on coords to play well, it will be a relief if nobody else is on but only the 4 players.

On another note, it'll cut down on spammage in the squad frequency.

Maybe the bot could also do something like:

1 more on %tickname

That would be kind of annoying and distractive. I prefer to have no chatting on during a game.

Pretty much. A good team gives coord macros automatically. If you don't, then you should start.

First of all I don't like your idea. Teaming is something that you have to work out yourself, and not by a bot.
But if you would do something like this, it would be smarter to give coords of:
- people that are alone facing more than one enemy
- more than 2 people flying together

But i agree i don't like spammage in a DD ... i like my bots silent
People can just make their own macros screaming for
"//help me at %area, %coords... Getting Pwnd!!!"
if they're that desperate heh.
That's what player macros are for after all.
