New Elim Map

I just went online for the first time in a few days and noticed the new elim map.

It's not a huge change but it looks clumsy and uncentered.

Basically i just want to know if the spawn radius has been changed to make up or the fact that the map is all on the southern half of the arena?

PS: this isn't supposed to be flaming anyone on staff or anyone who was involved with the update, im just wondering.

It looks like it didn't change the elim area itself, but they just deleted the base on top. I dunno. that's just what I got from it.

I made a point of saying i'm just curious about the spawn area thing because i knew you and likely underground and perhaps even Ice Storm would come here and think it was an attempt to flame the person who cut up the elim arena.

Spawns are different. Sometimes it spawns you in the corners and top mid or bottom mid. Its kinda random, but still controlled.

That doesn't sound controlled at all. Yeah Dameon Angell or w/e heh, its a new map, wider, bigger in general

Spawning near the first border is dumb because now nowhere is safe from some newbie popping up and shooting you. Its better IMO to have it the old way where once you get out of the center you dont need to worry about someone popping up next to you.

EDIT: dueling in that area takes too damn long cause it seems more open and its ezer to get away from a rush.

Ive been playing some elim lately, and the spawns on the outside of the map are rediculous.. Before there was only 1 spot to stay out to not get spawned, but now its the whole god damn map.. Guy spawns outside next to you, ur not safe, death. It sucks.. change it back

U have more chance of being spawned, since people are actually having battles on the edge of the map... whereas in the centre people are running for their lives to not be spawned.

blah blah blah blah, i was thinking about writing something that would make a difference but then i just realised that most of the people who "care" about elim are just complete twats hating everyone and suicide rushing like mad cows.

The new map is better than the older.
