  • I'd like some advice...

I'm considering leaving the squad i'm with at the moment, and I dunno how I should break the news to them... I've been with this squad (in it's different forms) for almost a year (not long, but long enough), but it's all become a little bit too disorganised for me and I feel I need a more stable, progressive squad. What should I say to them?

Pah, why am I bothering? Not like they're gonna care or anything. And i'll probably end up as a squadless TW pariah for the rest of my gaming career...
Well, very simply, it's a biscuit, but it is also a cake - think of it as the transvestite of biscuits. They're about the size of, well, a biscuit, and they're basically a disc of sponge, with a bit of orange-flavour jelly on top, covered in a thin layer of chocolate.

Makes me look selfish and ungrateful though...

Say normal things, but then get kicked out anyway, and join another good squad. Works for everyone.

Meet with your squad leader first and tell him that you'd like to move in a different direction than the squad.

Talking to your squad leader instead of to the group is usually better. (Unless, of course, you also happen to BE the squad leader when you decide to leave)

Jump off a bridge and fax each member of your Squad a suicide-letter, saying the Squad licks ass and you wanted out.

(Kinda the Mob-ish sorta thing to do, y'know, the whole "Once in you're in, you're in for life." sorta thing.)

I'd say if none of the members read the forum, then it's a lame enough squad to just leave without saying just about anything...

Second option is to say that school/work/wife or whatever takes up too much of your time and that U are quitting SS. Then jsut start with a new nick.

This is a difficult process so bear with me, I know it may sound outrageous or insane at times but just try to understand.

                              Step One:
                              Tell people you are quiting

                              Step Two:
                              Type ?squadleave

                              Step Three:
Ask around and try to join a squad you like

phew... after you do all these things you will be all sweaty and tired from pure exhaustion. This is a very hard process and involves hard labor, sweat, blood, and sometimes sperm (step three only).
The individual, a prisoner. Humanity holding the key to the opression. Everyone a prisoner, holding a portion of the whole truth. And so the enigma perpetuates. Insentient, lifeless. Grinning mockingly at its creators through its cold, inanimate lips.
