also, adding creds would make tw like every other zone that exists. withholding creds is what makes tw unique. if u really like credit/RPG zones, there are plenty.

i like the idea but i think the gods are too busy/(lazy/unmotivated) to bother with it... it is a big thing when you think a bout it and efore it got implemented they would have to spend months arguing about what to put in and what not to put in.. =/

I do like the idea of hoarding all the creds though.. would there be some sort of reset every month?
I can see it now.. after a month certain members of the community (not naming anyone) who spend there lives here would have more than enough creds to do whatever they want...

I think they could be balanced dont you :P The settings can be made to be balanced in a way that L4 everything doesn't make you so "elite".
But anyway they'll be in the rpg not the pubs.

Since your post was bigger than most paragraphs I ever read, I browsed through it quickly.
#1. You want people to go back to pub? No, no. Too many people playing in public is one of the reasons why we have so few squads and there is not enough competition in TWD and TWL.
#2. I like the credits idea to some extent. People could be given credits/points for getting MVP in TWD matches, elims, hosted games, whatever. And then they can go spend it on some sort of shop where they can buy things like: a new, cooler ship graphic, a cooler thrust, bombs, bullets, etc. But they can't buy things that will make their ships stronger, faster, etc, except maybe for public arena use only. I'm not sure about the people giving up credits/points to enter hosted games idea =/. The problem with the new graphics idea is that the ships are so small that anything you do to them will either not be noticeable or it will totaly transform it.
#3. This thing takes time/work. Like Rand said, nobody is getting paid to do these things so the chances of it hapenning are very slim. We should put our focus on smaller things that would make the game more enjoyable and less a pain in the ass: spawn system, cloaker race in baseelim, laming outside of base in baseelim and twjds. Making a bot that gives players a shield as soon as they spawn, but also takes their energy down to 1, could solve the spawning problem. Once their energy is high enough to shoot, the shield is taken away. Another idea would be having a little safety zone area where people spawn, like the ones in the EG public arenas. People could be given 10 seconds to get out of the safety (sort of like the line to get in base in TWJD) and once they go out they can't go back in or else are specced.
