I am so totally for this idea. Make ?go javs more like baseelim but free. If there is so many people that want to be on a big team it would boost ?go javduel, and if there aren't then there is no reason to have only freqs of 1 (or 2) in ?go javs.

Hm, I don't know if I should revive a month old thread, but since this is about ?go javs I think it fits here. First I want to mention that the adjustments are good. It seems to encourage people to stay in ?go javs longer (you don't get teamraped)
But there was another thing I wanted to touch upon. Last night as I was playing javs, I saw someone staying outside base repeatedly taking longshots into base.
Ofcourse this must be alot of fun, but I don't think that is what the javs arena is about. And altogether straybombs coming from base while you spawn aren't exactly increasing the other guy's skills either.
But it reminded me of a post of Overburn not too long ago:

well, this time I discoved "extra" tiles in continuum, most of them are usless but a few are cool. yea, I'll just describe them now...
(Note: when I say "Items", I mean decoys, bullets, bombs, shrap, burst, and power balls, but not thors)

241: Invisible on screen, Visible on radar, Ship can go through it but Items dissapear when they touch it.

So I was wondering, is it possible to implement this in ?Go javs? Put this over a line under base so that bombs that are shot from outside base are "filtered" and the other way round. I bring this up because I think people should be playing in base rather than staying in spawn to fish for strays in base.
