theres been lots of talk about how TW's is getting stale of late. giving people more options, no matter how useless they may seem to be at the time of there instatment, could be the kick in the ass our zone desperatly needs.. imo.

The pubbing community at least. They come and go, if we could somehow have them more involved in the community of trenchwars instead of them getting bored pubbing 24/7 and leaving the game we'd have more people playing the game. Maybe someday trenchwars will be housing 2000+ players but thats only a dream. You may say that pubbers shouldnt be staff because they would just quit, but who knows in all that pub you just might find that one 24/7 dedicated player thats almost ready to quit and pow give him staff and hes set to help trenchwars for life, its that kind of mentality that people should have. I mean if you don't show love for each and every player in your zone, why would they want to stay?

1. Staff isn't publicly this time around for TWL 8, telling people the lag limits. If you asked what were the lag limits for last season....

2. Toked is an asshole, it's general knowledge. Your entire post seems to be focused around posting your hatred for the mentioned Staff members.

3. Nothing I see is limiting public players from contributing to the zone.

4. If you want public players to be more involved, get them involved. Make them aware of the forums, TWsites, the TW site, leagues and other arenas.

5. The "need help with Trench Wars? use ?help msg and a staffer or Robot will be happy to help you" isn't enough to make people aware of using the freaking command?

6. Pub players wouldn't be made staff members right out for not moving beyond the public or at least knowing that there are other things to do in this zone. If you're thinking i'm saying they have to be a baser, javer or generally a elim or belim person, no. I'm saying they have to at least know those sub communities are there if not be a part of one. Sticking around in pub your entire game time won't do that for you neither would it exposed anyone to the fact that you can do stuff like help make maps and other things.

Publics are what they are, the game. If you want them to be more then they need to not be pubbers.

They are like all of us are exposed to the Twsites.com messages (where they can contribute money to the zones survival), shown through zoners where to get help and report cheats, given a list of rules to follow and also given in entering messages the TW site link. It is up to those players to use that information, their ability to grasp and want to take part in this community is entirely up to them.

I think Sex Bullet made some rather broad assumptions about pub players. I also think that the problems people have been bringing up have little to do with pub players.
