if you open Continuum, a red picture with a black text "CONTINUUM" shows up. You can change it by making your own image. Call it "splash.bm2" and put it into your Continuum's graphics-folder.

edit: just fyi, the bm2 uses the same system as *.bmp-files, so make your own image in Bitmap and rename it to *.bm2

It's not a bug, it's just the way the game works. When someone mines, the data is sent to your client and it remembers where the mines are. If you enter an arena where mines already exist, your client was never sent the data so as far as you're concerned, the mines don't exist.

I recall this problem was NOT present in Subspace (i.e. not Continuum). Can anyone confirm this? It's been so long now I'm not sure.

I have no use for a way around Arrogant, because ever since I changed connections he's been quite nice to me. There's a logical reason, but I haven't figured it out yet, and I have no reason to try

Hmmm not a useful trick but doing, for example, ?find :Gen with the colon in front has the same effect as ?find=Gen. Maybe you can type the colon faster. Meh.
