just from cursory examination, I'd say no I don't want XFire to support continuum. Or rather, I don't want Subspace to suppot XFire.

It would be cool to have it up on a site with games in the league of CS-Source and World of Warcraft.

We really need to promote Subspace more before it starts to die out.

More exposure would be cool... but I've used XFire before (think I recently uninstalled it (like... yesterday)) and it's only really good for games that don't have much of a built in chat system... SS/Continuum has a (decent) chat system built in to it already... so I don't really think we need XFire support other than as a way to spread the word... of course... that does mean I want it.. but not enough to go post about it.

err.... Ewan, you know XFire is a seperate program? It has no affect on the continuum client at all. It'd just show your friends list people as playing continuum when you look at it if they have continuum open.

this would require the person who develops SS/Cont (priitk) i think to be involved, if im not mistaken. I don't think that this will benefit or hurt the game, but im not really sure that i want a bunch of newbs to come. My opinion is that for this game, you need to have a lot of desire to learn the strategies. so, no.

But the Continuum client would have to be modified to allow Xfire to see who's online etc...
