Around late beta. My mom saw it on some tech TV show so I downloaded it. I bought it too, but I've had breaks in between for other games (Ultima Online, EQ, cstrike, StarCraft, others)

Late 2000. Took about a years sabadicle after playing for 7 months. Just started playing again this summer, then stopped for a month during this school year due to lag. I am a newbie I guess. But it is funny how I remember some people from 2 years ago and how they sucked like me, but they stuck with it and are now elite.

Were looking for some fun online game to play (in early sept 2000), stumbled over SS on some top 10 list (1st ranked), downloaded it and played it for some days. Then I had a brake for like a month but were talking about the game with a RL friend. Then we both began playing it but I was the only one to get addicted to it. Now I got 1400h usage
or 2 months constant online out of 24 months!
