Squad Arenas and Bots

Hello, I was wondering where I could find information on your policies regarding creation of custom squad arenas and bots.

as far as i know, custom squad arenas are accepted whenever, providing they do not contain any obscene content (such as pornography, excessive swearing etc..)
just make your map and send it to TWmaps@twsites.com


as far as bots go? well i wouldnt hold up any hope of getting your own bot. for you to have a bot, it would have to be staff , for it to be staff you would have to be staff to run it.

and no staff = no bot =/

to have a squad arena accepted into TW, the squad needs to be rostered and alive for 3 months before its even considered.

It's a bit more than what cook said.

As far as I know, the official policy is that your squad has to be active in either TWD/TWL and also be alive for 6 score resets (which is 3 months) in order to get a custom squad arena.

Also, you generally can't have custom bots for the arenas.

Unless you're generous and java-oriented enough to make your own original bot, that we can verify. That would be good ^__^

I'm a CS major, actually, so I could write a bot on my own in Java once I'm done analyzing the Mervbot source. I guess my next question would be whether or not I should continue spend the time to do that. I would also be willing to put in time to improve some of the existing bots or write new types of publically available bots if there's any need for that.
