Yeah, if you push alt-tab, it will continue to download the arena, but you will have the "good" chat interface.

but if u alt-tab for too long and the arena finishes downloading, when u maximize again sometimes the game freezes.

Here's a tip for 4 year old newbs - you can reassign your Continuum buttons to be more comfortable, like "a" shoot, "s" bomb, "d" rocket, "q" attach, etc

A little handy advice for Jav advocates: If one enemy is in the flag room and your teammates are chasing it down, DO NOT lob a bomb at it. I know it's been said before, but your ass bullets are there for a reason. Bombs are not your only weapon.

• Spiders excel at destroying ships pinned in corners or the base ears. The one disadvantage they do have in these situations in their lack of rotation speed. If you find yourself trapped in a tight space with one, a few quick bounces off the walls to dodge his fire then a quick reverse "through" him will see you escape with nothing more than a crack on your windshield.
• Funny thing about rocketing javs, they can only move forward the whole time and moreoften than not, they will opt for the straightest path from his location A, to your ship B. The trick here is to use his large turning circle aginst him, by moving diagonally towards his hull forcing him to continue turning to try make another pass at you. It's the same kind of technique as evading the spider, but you have to be as fast as the jav to react. Should you move too early or too late, you're toast.
• Don't talk about politics or religion in subspace. Brick walls are more receptive to your beliefs, because in space, no one can hear you scream. You're better off downloading porn than wasting bandwidth arguing about G.W.Bush.
