Why can't we have an automated hockey arena? It only gets hosted when a guy has newly ben promoted to ZH, and it seems like the other staffers isn't interested in hosting it.. There are alot of hockey players in TW, and I think it would be a success.. I know its alot of work to create a bot, but ask a HZ bot coder if he can supply TW with a bot..

if hockey zone already has it and the staff are refusing to host it.. why not go and play it in hockey zone?

have you ever been in HZ?
It's a horrible zone.. I've played a full season there, and I've only seen ONE HZ squad who had nice ppl in it (nockm's squad, you guys were ownage). TW is a good zone because the difference between newbies and vets isn't that huge (compared to other zones). In HZ that differenence is so extremely huge that it actually ruins the entire zone.. You got the pub arenas in HZ where the newer ppl hangs out (often you don't got 6 on each team, or 2 goalies). Or you got other arenas like ?go scrim and ?go mini.. There you often have more in spec waiting to play than ppl actually playing. From my experice TW hockey has always been cooler than the HZ hockey, not including the HZ league matches.Da1andonly> man this youghurt only made me angry

You have no idea how much I enjoy hosting hockey. The only reason it's not being regularly hosted is because I can't connect to COntinuum (apart from ASWZ :/ ) from University. Watch out for some hockey on Sunday and then in 3 weeks I'll be at home for a month.
When (if
) I get <ER>, I'll continue to host hockey as I enjoy hosting it and the players enjoy playing it.
Also, it's a good event for ZHs to learn to host on as it's not too difficult yet contains most of the skills needed in hosting. I'd totally rather have a host hosting it rather than a bot.. But it doesn't get hosted much these days.. You're a good hockey host Ewan and I'm looking forward to the hockey games. By making ?go hockey automated we'd be condemning it to hell. The hockey zone players would sit in trench wars hockey arena and just invade it. The reason they are staying in hockey zone is because trench hockey isnt automated. I strongly believe if ?go hockey was automated then alot of hockey zone players would just play in trench wars whether it be to show off or because the server is better. that was actually a good point KS, with some thought about it I realized that automated tourny sucks so bad compared to a live hosted one, and this would too.. The thread starter disagrees with himself, lock this bitch up.

I'd like to see more hockey in TW. I used to go to HZ but I do agree that the percentage of good games to bad games is ugly.
