Your scream was heard trough the ban email, and was asked to take action too.
After reading this thread, i asked the current BanG operator Weaver on the status. He was awaiting a adjustment in the netban, and asked 2 times for a change, however not done yet.
We however gave your name "Izor" a free pass to enter TW (no altnicks of you will have this.). A solution you can use for the next 85 days to log on safely in TW atleast.

May I suggest that in future, you email the person back to let them know?

I have always got answer when I have sent mail to ban@tw.org.

But this ban wasn't only TW-related.

i got banned for 7 months for pretending to be a twbot! Was a joke between friends, and a psycho mod went crazy
I sent an email and got a response within the hour!

My scream? You make it sound like I'm mad or something. I know mistakes happen, I just get pissed when nothing is done to correct them after a reasonable amount of time. And I think a few days is an appropriate amount of time in this case. Either way its nice that I can at least log in now (hopefully, I'm on a college computer atm so i cant check)

Some anonymous player (tahkis> ?find stra, Not online, last seen more than 10 days ago) was maphacking and they accidently banned Izor. Guess they also banned the anonymous player but don't want to lift Izors ban.

Stra's not anonymous, she even used to be staff (Angel <ER>).

Possibly, but from Izor's post it was pretty clear that wasn't the case for him. Because they had decided to reduce the ban, they could have responded to let him know. A perfunctory "Your complaint has been read, and we have decided to adjust your ban to xxx days. This reduction will take effect as soon as the BanG request goes through." That the ban involves non-TW zones only increases the need for communication. He should be informed of who else he needs to talk to.

Anyway, I don't know the whole case, so maybe I'm way out of line and there was a response. But if people aren't getting some kind of indication that there case has been reviewed, they will take it to the forums and then it takes up precious precious vertical space or some such jazz.
