When does a username reset?

Let's say you had a nick that was stolen, and at the time your IP's didn't match (because I don't think the investigator looked at previous IP's) so you quit ss. Two years later you return, in the mean time having basically a new computer, and tried getting it back through the form, providing as much data as possible e.g. previous usernames, squad info and members of staff that could vouch for me and getting a reply saying it was denied. Basically how long do I have to wait for a 6000 hours usage nick to be reset?

P.S. If anyone has my nick I'd be forever grateful if you'd return it, and I wouldn't get mad I promise.

I have names which I haven't bothered to log into from '99 or '98 with roughly 10-13 hours on them and they still haven't reset.

It always amazes me that there are people who learn to write before they learn to read. You even managed to scroll what? 8 forums past the right one? Trench Wars stuff goes in SSCU Trenchwars, Non-game stuff goes in GD, it even says so if you took two seconds to read the forum descriptions!
