Good job with the new Levi's ... Now they are almost worthless ...

I cannot understand this "no-tk" concept ... Levis and Javs used to be good weapons which from time to time "tk'ed" large portions of their teams .. so what ?? thats life ... No we have Levis that can only be used for defense, and Javs that cannot get any sharpnel ... and all that because some of you dont like to get killed ...

That's all well and true but less than half of the tk's are mistakes, the rest are on purpose. Hence the anti-tk.

The tk with levi is over, and that is fantastic .
The bombs colour suck . Bring back the beautifull blue .
I love the faster movment that enables me to dodge wb's .

Overall this is a fantastic change exept 1 really big anoyance :

The X's are piddly little things that can't cloak anymore. Let's have the settings for them of two years ago.

The new lanc settings are nice.

This new lev is awful. One repel, no rocket, no portal. Weak lil bombs. The speed is nice, makes the ship more inviting to new players, which is good, however...its hard to feel satisfied after outfighting a pack of warbirds and getting safe with that thing.

And once safe, how on earth does one rack up hundreds of bounty when LTing with that abomination?

Great. It's more baser friendly. Great, it doesnt TK. Just great. It destroys one of the funnest aspect of pub, while destroying an entire niche of TW pub players - not only the levs and the terrs, but the resulting hunters as well.

Basers, if ?go base isn't enough for you, a pure pub or two should be. For the pubbers who don't like the real (L3 bomb) lev settings, have an arena or two with this new embarrasment.

Finally, have most of the arenas with the real levi settings, L3 bomb, reps, portal, the whole deal. I know, having different ship settings for different pubs would be nightmarish to establish, but if this new lev is to stand than there should be some way to pub with the old one too, as already so much has happened to destroy the TW pub of yore.

This is a big angry rant, I know, with little organization, and few solutions, I know, but I guess the main point is this: These new settings are stupid, the old ones should be kept, hopefully in entirety, but if not, they should be very easily accessible.

The shrap is nice to look at and all, but it's terribly annoying when you get more than one lev in the base and they start bombing willy nilly. Not only do you have the slowest moving shrap ever made, but you have this awful lag. How does this improve basing? Since when did lag make basing more fun?

Actually now that I think about this ... there is no FUN without evil, and ethical mistakes are just what Continuum needs to be even more fun ... by removing those we will start playing on a sterile environment with less fun and more "right stuff ... " ... oh god ... this sounds like USA ... :grin:

This new levi sucks. We can forget all the fun of LTing, chasing LTs, or driving them. And the javs will continue to be the ultimate tk machine, most levi players have learned by now that they aren't that welcome in base. So they go private and have a good time.
The original settings for all these ships were great. Now, you have groups of whiners demanding change to suit their desires. What about the loyal, and skilled, levi players and LT drivers? What about OUR needs? I suppose I can go back to a SVIE settings zone and actually have a use for all the greens, and a challenge to boot.
The pure pubs wern't enough?? As I've preached in pub under other laiases (The Levi's Advocate), even new players would bitch about a ship they don't have the patience to pilot, much less green, simply because of the anti-lev hate mongering. Now, the game is quickly reaching apogee for gayness. Leave the ships be, and get off the hate wagon!

1 - change bombs colour back to the beautifull blue .

You know as default graphics settings L3 bullets are blue and L2 yellow. So YOU need to make required changes to switch colour of the bombs.
