pure basing

theres more friggen levs than before, has anyone else noticed this? and others are so busy basing that the levs work their way right up to those damn holes and blow the shit out of everyone.

If anything I would say that pure basing is harder for levs. The fact that they cant attach to the terr makes it alot more challenging for the hardcore lev player. also I think it exposes the new player to another aspect of the game. All in all I feel that pure basing is a good thing. But, I only like it once and awhile

uve missed what im saying. yeah its a good thing, at least theirs no ANNOYING ass levterrs running around laming everything in sight. at least theres no butt heads in warbirds running around on private freqs in the spawning area radar shooting everything. but the dumb friggen idiots of trench wars and the newbs see this challenge and immediatly get in a lev, i think they ship should be disabled for pete's sake. i get up in the base and think that finally there is nothing to worry about when some damn lev bomb comes up and blows away both teams at the same time. and what i really hate about it is the fact that they know they arent gonna make it to the flag room, they just wanna be able to say "hey everyone! Im a lev during pure basing!"

I have to say that I feel your logic there. I guess that there is a certain feeling of accomplishment when a lev makes it to base on his own during pure basing. But, I think that it is alot harder during this weekend!

if you spend your time in base, you'd never notice how many levs there are in a pbw, more, less or the same.

probably true, but when the lev bomb does come up there and kill me, i feel the need to wipe out the lev and i go down and rocket at in in a jav or cloak it, then i see more and do it to them :/
