I came back to test out my video capturing program. The second I get in, I press the button to start capturing. Then some guy named "Znider" showed up and I shot him. Well, I thought so. My bullet went right through him. Wtf?

The good thing is, I have a video to prove it. How ironic, eh?

If someone could donate some space on their FTP server or something so I can upload it, it'd be nice. It's 302MB (but it's crystal clear). I can decompress it if you want me to, but it'll reduce the quality. I can prolly make it about 20MB but it'll be a little sloppy but still readable.


Edit: I decompressed it to 9.99MB and is still readable.

Very odd and confusing.

If he was cheating as such to make his ship appear smaller, your client still would have drawn the bullet hitting him, and it would have just seemed like an eat. The only explanation as far as I know would be some sort of error in your client.

Looks like lag. My screen capture skips like that a lot every min or so and this system is pretty stable. While you're in windowwed and controlling the ship it would also cause skips or slow downs when you're recording, your FPS probably dipped when shooting.

Edit:

#6 shows you were no more then || close to hitting him but he was not cheating, if you slow it down enough.
