The current requirements that allows you to call yourself a veteran are:

at least 8 years in the game
a TWL championship when TWL was just one league (covering the warbird factor plus some others here)
at least 2 TWL championships
an elim rating that was at least 1800 at some point
knowing what the squad LAME is
