No, ?go base is definitely more like ?go wbduel or ?go javduel. Captains handle the teams and the ship limits are the same as in leagues. In elims there's the ranking thing too, which isn't found in base. In elims people play for themselves, but in base people play for the team that was formed 5 minutes ago and will dissolve in 10 minutes.
