Persistant Score?

Can someone please clear up a scoring question I have: why is it that when I start playing a round, I start with over 100000 points? are points persistant?

human frother = human.build(79, 0, 0, 775, 97, Genome.Randomize("male"), true);
frother.runLife();

Your score accumulates over a period of 2 weeks, then it is reset to zero. It doesn't reset to zero after each round.
